Big Buddha or Wat Phra Yai
This tourist spot is on the top of Pratamnak, a wooded hill in the south of Pattaya. There is an 18 metres high relaxed and peaceful golden statue of Buddha. You can reach near this statue by climbing steep stairs decorated with golden naga snakes on both sides. There are several small Buddha statues surrounding the main statue. People usually pray here for their prosperity and good health.
Sanctuary of Truth
This spot is considered as the haven created on the earth as it is a monument built entirely in Thai style of architecture with wood. Every space available at this monument is decorated with complex carvings on wood to pay homage to ancient philosophies and religions.
Wat Yansangwararam
It is one of the impressive temples or wats of Thailand. The temple introduces you not only with traditional architecture and designs but also with the values of the Thai society. Extensive gardens studded with palm trees surround the temple, which was dedicated in 1988. This was in the honour of the 42nd year of the reign of the King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
